About the Bergen Point Community Church

Over the years, The Bergen Point Community Church has remained true to it's original purpose, providing services to the community by hosting a chapter of "Alcoholics Anonymous" that meets every Saturday evening as well as an Al A Non group. The church is also an advocate of music as “Kindermusik” has sessions in the church basement.

The church has always prided itself on its religious openness and ecumenical spirit. We continue to be deeply influenced by our religious tradition, but we are never bound by it. Our Service of Worship provides a warm and friendly atmosphere where individuals may freely worship God and feel at home, regardless of church membership or denominational affiliation.

As a congregation we do not claim to have all the right answers to life's vexing questions. We do, however, have the courage to seek for them in a spirit of cooperation and mutual trust with other men and women of faith and goodwill. We encourage members and friends of our congregation to search the pages of the Bible and their own consciences and to think for themself. Each individual is unique and must forge his/her individual journey of faith. With God's help, we attempt to provide each other with love, hope, and encouragement along the way.

If the above paragraphs describe your journey of faith as well, we urge you to join us in Worship and in Service.
